You have heard them before. Guaranteed! One of them – Christian McBride – has participated on more than 300 album recordings. All in different constellations and impressive list of collaborations with such celebrated musicians as Sting, Paul McCartney, Diana Krall, Pat McCartney, Celine Dion and many more. McBride is a musicians musician and yet quite unknown.

The other one, David Sanborn, is a legendary saxophonist with a massive impact on our time: from the soft tones on David Bowies ”Young Americans” to his own 26 records, six Grammies and the never ending musical creativity from the instrument he learned to play as a eight year old. As a child, Sanborn had fallen ill with polio. The doctor recommend him to play saxophone to practice his lungs and from that point the instrument became his musical outlet. He has now joined together with Christian McBride’s New York trio. Envision new sides of these musicians to appear in this outstanding combination. We welcome fenomenal jazz masters of masters to perform on the stage of Blue Note Milano.
