In 2025, drum legend Steve Gadd turns 80, Dan Hemmer turns 60 and Michael Blicher turns 50 – and they’re celebrating in the best way possible: with a brand-new EP, a tour in Japan, and a return to Europe in early spring 2026.
Known for creating a warm and intimate atmosphere, Blicher Hemmer Gadd’s hard-swinging, bluesy, and soulful music has captivated audiences across the globe. The trio has released 4 albums and played more than 100 shows together in Japan, Germany, Australia, Italy, Denmark, Finland, Thailand, Hong Kong, UK, Sweden, Norway, Luxembourgh, Holland and many more.
Formed after a chance encounter more than 10 years ago, the trio continues their joyful and deeply personal musical journey, thriving despite the 3,000+ miles, 40+ years, and three busy touring schedules that separate them.
After decades of performing in stadiums with legends like Eric Clapton, James Taylor, and Steely Dan, Gadd relishes the opportunity to reconnect with the essence of music-making in an almost acoustic setting.
