Theo Croker is a GRAMMY-nominated trumpeter, composer, producer, and bandleader redefining modern jazz through genre-blending innovation.
His new album, DREAM MANIFEST (Dom Recs / Fat Beats, June 13), is a cinematic collision of jazz, experimental hip-hop, and cosmic soul, praised by the LA Times as “a path to jazz greatness.”
Known for collaborations with J. Cole, Jill Scott, Wyclef Jean, Ari Lennox, and Common, Croker’s sound is described by NPR as having “a clear musical approach and determination.” His live shows are immersive experiences, blending trumpet performance, production, and samples — all performed with his acoustic ensemble. As VICE notes, Croker “pushes the boundaries of jazz, neo-soul, and hip-hop,” a vision fully realized during his sold-out Barbican Theatre premiere of Dream Manifest.
The Evening Standard called it “jazz, just not as we know it,” while Jazzwise praised his “emotional depth” and “total stage control.”
